business video tours, video tours, facility tours, best lightimage, mnIf your business isn’t growing as fast as you’d like it to, you might want to think about video advertising. While the written word can certainly be powerful (you’re reading this now, aren’t you?), videos take your audience to a new level. They can see more and experience more than they would with “regular” content. If you’re not sure how you’d use video content to grow your business, here are a few ideas.

  1. Showcase your facility with a video tour. If you’ve got a service-based business like a hotel, restaurant, spa, or even a skilled nursing facility, a video of the inside will entice viewers to stop by in person to see more. For example, a video of a luxurious spa with serene music, thick, fluffy towels, and smiling faces is much more enticing than a picture of a massage chair.
  2. Showcase your product with a video instead of still images. If you sell cars, you might make a video of the car driving around the lot so that it can be seen from all angles. If you sell skin care products, you can squeeze them into your hand and show their consistency and ease of use. You can do a short video for each product you sell or one collective one with all the cars in your showroom or skincare products in your inventory – it’s up to you.
  3. Explain products with difficult concepts. In science and technology-based industries, there are a lot of concepts and vocabulary that may be difficult to understand. If you manufacture something that the average consumer wouldn’t know about, a video is a great way to show it off. When it comes to technical jargon, visuals are much easier to comprehend.
  4. Teach your audience about your product. One of the best ways to get repeat customers is to show them how to use the product they have, and videos are the best way to do that.  Think about infomercials for kitchen appliances. By the end of that half hour, the viewer knows exactly how to use that pressure cooker or food processor. The more they use it, the more they’ll spread the word to family and friends, especially in the age of social media. Everyone wants to know how to make that mac and cheese they saw on Facebook!
